Story's not bad. I didn't find myself dying to pick it up again each night, but once I did it was entertaining enough. I guess I just couldn't figure out what all the hype was about. The pictures, by the way, were interesting, but the most over-hyped part of the whole book. The odd thing about them is that they were real (trick photography, but actual, existing) photos that the author discovered in the possession of a few private collectors. Presumably he then wrote the story around them. Ok characters. Decent plot development, particularly in the 2nd half. Couple of mild profanities. 3.5 stars.
